Cocktail Recipe: Frozen Mudslide

This one is a bit of a favourite of mine when I am in TGI Fridays.
The Frozen Mudslide.
It’s so yummy so
BE CAREFUL it’s way to easy to drink.

4 cups of crushed ice
2 jiggers of vodka
2 jiggers of Irish cream liquer
2 jiggers of coffee flavoured liquer
2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
1/2 cup of whipped cream

Blend the crushed ice, vodka, and liquers in a blender.
Drizzle in the chocolate syrup & blend till smooth.
Pour into glasses and drizzle in whipped cream.

YUMMY.
I hear a jigger is like a shot or like 1.5 liquid ounces.
I also hear that replacing the ice with vanilla ice cream makes for a nice time.

Enjoy.

Food Cravings.

I’m utterly craving Cortina’s.
They do amazing Tokyo Iced Tea Cocktails.

Which I have kindly provided a recipe for (:
1 oz vodka
1 oz gin
1 oz rum
1 oz tequila
2 oz kiwi liqueur
1 oz sugar syrup
1 oz lemon and lime soda (7 up, sprite)

You basically mix all the alcohol together, add the sugar syrup, ice and lemon and lime soda to taste.
Stir it and serve in a Collins glass.
An ounce is about 1 to 1.5 shots. Whatever your preference I guess.
That’s a Collins glass.
And the finished thing!

Enjoy making these on those hot days we seem to be getting.

Benefit: Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation & They’re Real! Mascara

On Thursday Night I went to the IADT formal ball.
Before that I got my make up done at Benefit cosmetics. My cousin’s girlfriend did my make up and used 2 of Benefit’s newest products on me. The first she used was
Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation in ivory. This is a new make up of Benefit’s on sale since Thursday. It is oil free and is a brightening foundation. As was explained to me there are Oxygen particles in the foundation which burst during the day giving the foundation a fresh, dewy just applied look. Which it does. It lasted me right into the night and looked newly done. I was also apply to apply two layers to get the coverage I wanted without looking cakey and still being able to see my freckles. I definitely recommend it!!
The second product she used and one I have been using myself for the past week is They’re Real! Mascara. First off the brush is specially designed that when used horizontally it coats the lashes to curl and lengthen them. When used vertically (it has a special tip) you can curl and flick individual lashes, AND BOY DID IT LENGTHEN THEM. For someone with naturally long lashes mine now look phenomanally long, and people have complimented me on them. The colour is also smudge proof and long wearing, to the point it’s almost impossible to remove. Great for nights out. Make that your make up investment for the week.

Fieldwork!

So today I went on my fieldwork for my Geographic Research Techniques module.
I didn’t know what to expect from it. I just knew alot of time would be spent in the docklands are of the city.
The docklands are actually a really nice area, especially the south dock area.
The Bórd Gáis Energy Theatre is there along with a variety of restaurants and bars.
It has a very London feel to it. TBH I wouldn’t mind living in an apartment there.
There was even a random area with rolling (tiny) hills and palm trees surrounding an old chimney.
I took some pictures, Check them out!!
